SRS at Big Sing West
Swift River School was ecstatic participate in the 2018 Big Sing West Choir Festival. Swift River Chorale students took a bus from New Salem to Longmeadow, ready for a long and exciting day of song. The Chorale practiced with a professional piano accompanist and other student singers from different schools. Students had the pleasure to rehearse and perform a group song under the direction of Wayne Abercrombie, the conductor and adjudicator for the festival.
The children sounded wonderful in their debut, and performed at a higher level than we’ve ever seen before. Proud of their achievement, the students were treated to a pizza dinner in Amherst. We are very excited to see what the future holds for our Chorale!
